1. Who We Are
Our Voices In Print Publishing Company ("OVIP," "we," "us," or "our") operates ourvoicesinprint.com, our member community, our workshops and events, and our magazine. This policy explains what information we collect when you interact with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
Contact form and submission form: your name, email address, and any message, story, or manuscript details you choose to share with us.
Magazine orders and subscriptions: your name, email address, shipping address (for print orders), and order details. Payment card information is entered directly into Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
Event and workshop registration: your name, email address, and whether you've attended a prior OVIP event, so we can send registration confirmations and event details.
Community membership: our community is hosted on a third-party platform (GoHighLevel). Information you provide when joining the community is subject to that platform's own privacy practices in addition to this policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Fulfill magazine orders and subscriptions; register you for workshops and events and send related updates (including Zoom links and reminders); respond to messages sent through our contact and submission forms; review submitted stories and manuscripts for possible publication; and send occasional newsletters or announcements, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run OVIP:
Stripe processes payments for magazine purchases and subscriptions. Supabase stores our order, event, and submission records securely. Vercel hosts our website. GoHighLevel hosts our member community and, for select events, handles registration, payment, and automated email sequences. Each of these providers has its own privacy and security practices governing the data they process on our behalf.
5. Cookies
Our website may use basic cookies necessary for the site to function (for example, keeping you signed in to a member account). We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers listed above, as needed to operate OVIP, or if required by law.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted payment processing through Stripe and access-controlled database storage through Supabase. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from newsletters and marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email us at info@ourvoicesinprint.com.
9. Children's Privacy
OVIP is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
